Coaching for Doctors

Our mission at Coaching for Doctors is to transform healthcare for patients. When medics are well and skilled in human connection and communication, patients receive optimal care and doctors and nurses feel fulfilled.

This workshop is designed to help you develop your skills in curiosity, creativity and generative, positive change.

Sharee has been working as a Psychologist Coach of Doctors for nine years and has worked with hundreds of doctors and medical students. She is engaged by several Colleges to deliver workshops and in 2021 published her book The Thriving Doctor – How to be more balanced and fulfilled, working in medicine.

In 2018 Sharee and Dr Elisabeth Wearne piloted our Recalibrate program. Together with Dr Andrew Green they have now facilitated eleven Recalibrate programs helping groups of doctors develop their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills so that they are better able to deliver effective patient care and have more enjoyable, sustainable careers in medicine. These doctors have regularly said that they wished they had learnt these skills earlier in their careers.

Appreciative Inquiry is one of the tools we introduce to doctors during Recalibrate and many are inspired by this process. This workshop will give you the opportunity to learn about Appreciative Inquiry and how to apply it in your particular circumstance, in healthcare, for individual and systemic change. Learn more about the science and the application of this powerful tool from one of the world’s experts, leave with the tools to more quickly and easily co-create positive changes, in ways that can be applied in your real world.
