About Dr. Jonathan
Dr. Jonathan Fisher is a Harvard-trained cardiologist, mindfulness teacher, and organizational well-being leader. With over 25 years of clinical experience, he currently serves as a Clinical Physician Executive at Novant Health, where he supports 38,000 team members in building cultures of connection, compassion, and care.
He is the author of Just One Heart: A Cardiologist’s Guide to Healing, Health, and Happiness, and an internationally recognized speaker on the mind-heart connection, clinician burnout, and heart-centered leadership.
Dr. Fisher is also the co-founder of the Ending Clinician Burnout Global Community and host of the world’s first international summit dedicated to ending burnout in healthcare—bringing together over 1,000 participants from 43 countries.
His work integrates science, psychology, and contemplative wisdom to help individuals and systems heal, grow, and thrive. He is passionate about creating safe, sacred spaces where healthcare workers feel deeply seen, heard, and supported.
