HEART OF MEDICINE 2026

Healthcare workers and healthcare leaders from anywhere in the world who value compassion and connection, especially those who are seeking to impact the systems we work in, either locally or in a bigger way.
At this gathering you will feel encouraged by what is being achieved in the world of healthcare by others, including our faculty, and have the opportunity to learn how you might expand your impact in compassionate and connected ways.

The Retreat following the Heart of Medicine Gathering on 29-31 July is invite only for those in our Recalibrate© Alumni and the Heart of Medicine Faculty.

If you attend one of the next two cohorts of Recalibrate© commencing in Oct 2025 and Feb 2026
you will be invited to the Heart of Medicine Retreat (as long as accommodation remains available).

Please make sure you book your accommodation when you register.

We recommend that you allow time to visit Uluru-Kata Tjuta at least once and more, if time allows.
To really sink into the place and the intention of our gathering, consider arriving at least the day before or leaving the day after our time together.
Eg. Arrive Tuesday and visit the National Park on Wednesday before we convene.

When you register for the Heart of Medicine Gathering you will receive an email including the link to book your accommodation using our corporate rates at Voyage’s Resort.

Uluru (Ayers Rock) Airport is 10 minutes from the resort. A shuttle bus will take you to your accommodation.
You do NOT need to book the shuttle bus. Collect your baggage and head outside to find the right shuttle bus for your accommodation.

A shuttle bus will take you to and from the airport, between the various accommodations and to any tours you book (eg Field of Lights, Camel rides).

It depends what you want to do independently. If you want to travel independently to Kata Juta, Uluru, Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and beyond you will need your own vehicle. You will also need to purchase a pass to the national parks to enter these sites.

There are tours from the resort to Uluru, Kata Juta and Kings Canyon that you can book from the Voyagers site. These tours will pick you up  and bring your home from your accommodation.

A courtesy bus runs to and from the Yalara Airport and Voyage’s Resort.
This is included in your booking at the resort. The trip will take you 15-20 minutes.
You do not need to book ahead for when you land at Yalara.
Simply walk out with your luggage and tell the driver which part of the resort you are staying in.

Several bus companies operate between Alice Springs and Uluru, Voyager’s Resort.

The Faculty will be visiting the Field of Lights (Star Pass) on Thursday night 30 July.
You are very welcome to join us. You can book your seat on the Voyage’s website for $85 - $135AUD

Our program finishes at 4pm on Thursday 30 July to allow time to book a dinner event if that is your preference. We recommend you do that well before you arrive at Yalara.

• 10 hours CPD

Retreat Program:

• Saturday 1 August:  8:00am - 5:00pm
• Sunday 2 August:  8:00am - 11:00am
• Morning tea 11am-12pm allowing for people who need to fly today to leave in a timely way
• 10 hours CPD

Consider flying out on Monday for a slow return from retreat to life.

We will email you a certificate at completion of this event. If you have attended all of the Gathering you will have 10 hours.
