January Reads 2025

Jan 28, 2025

My Summer Reads by request.

One of the things I love about the long Summer break is reading.

The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese is a generational drama set in India and written by an accomplished doctor from Stanford who is dedicated to amplifying the heart of medicine through presence. It was recommended to me by some dear long term clients who know me well. I am lining up for more by this author in the next holiday break.

All my other reading was non fiction, several imbued with personal story, all recommended. In the interests of uplift, I no longer post books that I do not want to recommend.

Most have self-guiding titles. If you are interested in personal agency and confidence, most of these titles will be useful to you. If you are looking for inspiration The Choice and The Doctor of Hiroshima will be of interest.

For better communication, all have something to offer, especially Never Split the Difference. And if you are thinking about systems and culture, The Culture Code and Antifragile are for you.

Happy Reading!
